ANNUAL BUSINESS MEET & TET RECEPTION 2024

On 02 February 2024, the Indian Business Chamber in Hanoi and the Embassy of India in Vietnam jointly organized the Annual Business Meet and Tet Reception 2024. The event welcomed distinguished guests from all government bodies, fellow chambers, and businesses. We would like to extend our gratitude to those who had taken time from their busy schedules to join us for this very celebration. 

INCHAM’s Tet Reception was honored to receive H.E. Mr. Sandeep Arya - Ambassador of India to Vietnam, H.E. Mr. Marc Knapper - Ambassador of Unied States to Vietnam, Mr. Nguyen Trung Khanh - Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, Mr. Shantanu Chakraborty - Country Director of Asian Development Bank and Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hung - Chairman of the Board of Sovico Group. 

In addition, we also honored to welcome government officials from: Ministry of Health, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Industry and Trade and Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, and representatives from our fellow chambers: AmCham, AusCham, SingCham, KoCham, NordCham.

This year marks the 25th year of our Indian Business Chamber in Hanoi. During these past 25 years in Vietnam, we’re glad to see the Vietnam – India bilateral relations fostering with trade as an important pillar. In 2023, despite the downturn trend of world economy, India is one of the few markets that have a positive growth. Vietnam export to India reached a turnover of 8.5 billion USD, growing 6.8% compared to 2022. And while Vietnam is in top 4 ASEAN countries that has trade relations with India, India is also the biggest trade partner of Vietnam in the South Asia.

In the atmosphere of the coming spring and Tet festival, we would like celebrate with you those achievements of the Year of the Cat, and to welcome the upcoming Year of the Dragon. 

This is an opportunity for us to express our sincere thanks to our business partners and officials for their continued support and commitment to the India and Vietnam's Economic, Business and Trade relations. We hope the partnership between India and Vietnam will continue to develop and prosper.
