INDIA AND VIETNAM STRENGTHEN JUDICIAL TIES

India and Vietnam reportedly discussed cooperation on judicial matters to strengthen the law and order sector to unprecedented levels in bilateral ties.

 

 

Indian Minister of State for Law and Justice (Independent Charge) Arjun Ram Meghwal and Minister of Justice of Vietnam, Le Thanh Long, discussed on Sunday, the direction of those ties in a cordial and friendly atmosphere, the Indian Ministry of Law and Justice detailed in a press release.

 

The parties discussed cooperation measures in line with the Comprehensive Strategic Partners status, it stated.

 

The meeting proved beneficial to enhance efforts towards the possibilities of entering into a memorandum of understanding to boost cooperation in law and justice, the Indian ministry stated.

 

The two delegations agreed to have further official-level deliberations to discuss cooperation in law and justice, including the conclusion of a memorandum of understanding.
