On 22 January 2021, the India-Vietnam Investment Forum was held in Ho Chi Minh City, jointly hosted by the Indian Consulate General in HCMC, the Private Economic Development Research Board, the Investment & Trade Promotion Centre of HCMC, and VinaCapital Group.

The forum discussed the businesses from Vietnam and India that can attract investments in the future. This includes construction materials, food processing, garment, information technology, renewable energy, and tourism.

VILAF lawyer, Vaibhav Saxena actively participated and served as Moderator in one of the topics in the forum called, “Opportunities and Challenges in energy in Vietnam & HCMC and potential cooperation sectors between Vietnam and India.”
