India Vietnam Virtual Business Meet

INCHAM Hanoi supported Confederation of Indian Industry – CII in organising a Session on virtual platform, titled India – Vietnam Virtual Business Meet on 24th March 2021 from 12:30 - 15:00 hrs (IST) | 14:00 -16:30 hrs (VST). The event welcomes the presence of H.E. Mr. Pranay Verma, Ambassador of India to Vietnam and H.E. Mr. Pham Sanh Chau, Ambassador of Vietnam to India.

Ambassador Pham Sanh Chau highly appreciated the initiative of the organizers to organize this program, which is an important forum for the Regulatory Authorities, the Industry Associations, as well as Chambers of Commerce and the business community of Vietnam and India to exchange and discuss policies, investment and business opportunities in each country. The recommendations at the forum last year have been recognized and implemented by many governments, such as the acceptance of electronic certificates of origin which has brought practical effects to businesses while promoting bilateral trade between Vietnam and India.

This year's trade forum has attracted the attention of more than 150 businesses from the two countries. In the information technology industry, HCL Technologies Group, currently ranked 6th in the Top 10 global information technology service companies, has officially established a company in Vietnam and committed to invest about 650 million USD and expected to train about 10 thousand high-tech engineers and manpower for Vietnam in the next 5 years, the company leaders are very satisfied with the rapid development after only 6 months in Vietnam. In the opposite direction, FPT Technology Group has opened a representative office in the city of Hyderabad, India.
