Viet Nam, has shown tremendous growth in recent years in regards to Infrastructure Development. Registered foreign direct investment increased 44% year-on-year through Dec. 20 to $29.68 billion, according to the Ministry of Planning and Investment. The Hanoi People's Committee has developed a Master Transport Plan for 2030, with a vision to 2050. The capital is expected to come from the state budget, ODA loans, and from private investors through transport projects in the forms of BT (build-transfer), BOT (build-operate-transfer), PPP (public private partnership), and BOO (build-own-operate).
