The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam in collaboration with Ha Giang province will organize the "Ha Giang Presentation" Conference in order to promote the image, potential strengths and attract investment, promote trade, cultural development and tourism of Ha Giang province to the international community.

Ha Giang is a mountainous province n the North of Vietnam 320 km from Hanoi The road transport system consists of national highway (NH2, NH4 NH34, NH279, NH18, NH17), which have been completely upgraded, especially the key routes favorable for socio-economic development. Ha Giang is a province with a long story of culture and many sites associated with famous landmarks. Ha Giang people are traditionally known to be hard-working, studious, active and creative.

Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) in 2016 increased 6.5% compared to 2015, local budget revenue reached over 10.722 billion, state budget revenue reached 1.786 billion, increased 7.2% compared to 2015. The total output per capita was VND20.5 million(an increase of 6.8% or VND 1.3 million). In 2016, the PCI index of the province increased 3 levels compared to 2015, the index of information technology application ranks 16 out of 63 provinces and cities.

Those remarkable achievements have been brought about by important contributions of investors, businesses in the province. Ha Giang always promote the main role of enterprises in socio-economic development and implement effective solutions to improve the investment and business environment such as: plans to improve basic infrastructure, human resources, services quality and special emphasis on reform of administrative procedures to ensure openness and transparency under the "one-stop shop" mechanism at Ha Giang public administrative center to shorten time from 1/3 to ½ and create the best condition for investors to conduct business efficiently.

Ha Giang is striving to become a developing province of Northern midland and mountainous region, a national hub for tourism and pharmaceutical destination. That goal requires Ha Giang to take full advantage of its resources for business development.
