TET RECEPTION 2023

On 13 February 2023, the Indian Business Chamber in Hanoi and the Embassy of India in Vietnam jointly organized the Tet Reception 2023. The event welcomed distinguished guests from all government bodies, fellow chambers, and businesses. We would like to extend our gratitude to those who had taken time from their busy schedules to join us for this very celebration. 

INCHAM’s Tet Reception was honored to receive H.E. Mr. Sandeep Arya - Ambassador of India to Vietnam, H.E. Mr. Tran Duy Dong - Vice Minister of the Ministry of Planning and Investment, Mr. Nguyen Quang Vinh - Vice Chairman of VCCI, Mr. Nguyen Quang Huan - Member of National Assembly, Mr. Nguyen Trong Kien - Director General of Southeast Asia, South Africa, South Pacific Department, External Relations Commission (Communist Party of Vietnam), Mr. Vu Ba Phu, Director General of Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency (Ministry of Industry and Trade), Mr. Vu Van Minh - Deputy Director General of Southeast Asia, South Asia & South Pacific Department (Ministry of Foreign Affairs), and Mr. Ton Sinh Thanh - Former Ambassador of Vietnam to India. 

In addition, we also honored to welcome government officials from: Ministry of Health, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Industry and Trade and Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

From Fellow chambers, we were delighted to receive Mr. Michele D’Ercole - Chairman of Italian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam, Mrs. Virginia Foote - Vice Chairman of American Chamber of Commerce in Hanoi, Mr. Tomaso Andreatta - European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam.

The year 2022 had come to an end with much positive energy. The pandemic seems to be faded away, and though there are still challenges, business, and trade activities are gradually recovering. On top of that, two-way trade between Vietnam and India hit a record this year with an increase to 15 billion USD. Besides trade, bilateral cooperation in tourism and investment also grew with the resumption and launch of direct air routes.

With this Tet Reception, we would like to celebrate those achievements of the Year of the Tiger, and to welcome the upcoming Year of the Cat. 

This is an opportunity for us to express our sincere thanks to our business partners and officials for their continued support and commitment to the India and Vietnam's Economic, Business and Trade relations. We hope the partnership between India and Vietnam will continue to develop and prosper.
