Since the beginning of the first outbreak of COVID-19 in early 2020, consumer behaviour has deviated significantly from normal. Closing stores combined with consumers’ fear of their own health has led to an immediate and sharp increase in demand and the use of alternative distribution channels. Coronavirus has changed consumer behaviour in every way.

The event aims to evaluate Q3's consumer behaviour with 2 indexes, the Consumer Confidence Index and COVID Impact Tracker. The Consumer Confidence Index reflects prevailing business conditions and likely developments for the months ahead. This report details consumer attitude, buying intentions, vacation plans and consumer expectations for inflation, stock prices and interest rates. The COVID-19 Impact Tracker quantifies the influence of the global pandemic of COVID-19 on consumer behaviour.

Infocus Mekong Research (IFM) has just completed Quarter 3 of both and there has been a mild uptick in overall consumer confidence, but Year to Date consumer spending is down a massive -29%.

Join us to find out how your sector/industry has been impacted by the latest lockdown and how consumers are spending to the end of the year and much, much more. By joining the Webinar you will receive a summary report of all findings.

- Ralf Matthaes, Managing Director at Infocus Mekong
