Diwali Night 2017, the festival of lights that celebrates the victory of light over darkness, good over evil and knowledge over ignorance, has been successfully organized by Incham Hanoi at JW Marriott Hotel on November 11th. Diwali festival is one of the most famous religious festivals amongst Hindus, and its annual celebration in all over the world is also the continuation of India deep-rooted and time-honoured tradition. Throughout India, and in Indian communities, people wear new clothes, visit friends and family, and exchange sweets and gifts. Houses are cleaned and decorated with colourful rangoli artworks - patterns created on the floor using coloured rice or powder. Preparation for Diwali in India

Although living far from homeland country, Hindu community in Hanoi never forgets to celebrate the festival. Incham Hanoi takes proud to protect this good tradition by hosting it every year. Diwali Night 2017 which is highlighted by complete religious practice, Ramayana epic based play, excellent and authentic Indian cuisine, which has brought to attendants not only the unforgettable experience, happiness, national spirit but also a balance, purity, and love to the soul. Attendants have chances to join many entertaining activities such as Henna and Face painting while watching the spectacular performance of magicians, Indian dancers and of our special guess singer Janice Phuong - Final winner of Vietnam Idol 2016. The festival attracted the attendance of nearly 1000 guests including Indian community in Hanoi, expats from other countries and Vietnamese friends. Rangoli artwork – patterns and designs made from coloured powders, ground rice powders and flowers – are displayed, commonly depicting a lotus leaf.
