On 10 September 2018 Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre, Hanoi celebrated 125th Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda’s Chicago Speech at the World Parliament on Religions. The programme was chaired by H.E. Shri. M.J. Akbar, Honourable Minister of State for External Affairs and H.E Shri. Parvathaneni Harish, the Ambassador of India to Vietnam and attended by Mr. Ravi Kumar, Chairman, InCham Hanoi accompanied by InCham members and representatives from the Government of India. The event began with keynote address from the Chairs followed by a voice clipping of Swami Vivekananda’s Chicago speech at the world’s Parliament on Religions which was originally delivered on 11 September, 1893 at Chicago, U.S.A.
The programme witnessed ample presence from the Indian and Vietnamese community and their interaction with the dignitaries.
