INCHAM MEETING WITH MOF ON TAX ISSUE

On the 17th of August, INCHAM and representatives of Indian businesses had a meeting with leaders of the Ministry of Finance (MoF) to discuss the issue of tax. 

Many difficulties faced by INCHAM's businesses in the field of minerals in terms of tariffs imposed on natural resources, VAT, and Tax on export in Vietnam were introduced at the meeting by INCHAM’s representatives. 

On their side, the Ministry of Finance expressed an understanding of the problems that the Indian businesses are facing. Mr. Phạm Tuấn Anh, Deputy Director of the International Cooperation Department (Ministry of Finance) hoped that INCHAM can collect all information about the problems that Indian companies are facing and send it back to MoF for reference to make changes in policies. 

Both sides agreed to have meetings in the future to further discuss the matter in order to fully support companies' operations in Vietnam.
